Acceptance, Autonomy, and Authenticity Practitioner

Throughout my several years as a teacher in both primary and high school settings, my focus has consistently been on supporting children and adolescents. I aim to empower each child to recognise and embrace their individual strengths, encouraging them to become the best version of themselves, while ensuring they feel supported and heard.

My background includes a major in psychology, along with diverse experiences within both the Disability and Education sectors. These roles have allowed me to gain a comprehensive understanding of varying learning needs and support strategies.

In recent years, particularly during my time at TEC as a lead practitioner and therapy assistant, I've cultivated a strong interest in neurodiversity-affirming practices. This approach is something I believe is crucial for fostering inclusive and supportive environments for everyone. I'm dedicated to implementing neurodiversity-affirming strategies to help individuals thrive and embrace their authentic selves, while fostering understanding and connection in my professional relationships.
I'm exploring innovative ways to support and empower neurodivergent individuals, ensuring they have the resources and understanding needed to thrive and embrace their unique strengths. What I love most about Instinct AU is seeing how families and support services unite to craft personalised plans, providing the exact support individuals need to thrive and live their best lives. Plus, it's such a supportive company to work in, with everyone being really friendly and kind!
