Acceptance, Autonomy, and Authenticity Practitioner

I was diagnosed with ADHD at 14, but it wasn’t until many years later that the full picture began to emerge.

I’ve since been blessed with three incredible AuDHD sons, and through supporting and understanding their unique needs, I was naturally drawn into the world of disability support work, where I’ve spent the past seven years. As my awareness deepened, I was encouraged to seek my own autism diagnosis, which was confirmed at age 39. That moment brought immense insight and validation, a reminder that I was never broken or “too much,” just neurodivergent in a world that hadn’t yet understood me.

This journey has helped me find myself, my community, and a stronger connection with my children. It continues to drive my passion for neurodiversity, advocacy, inclusion, and helping others feel seen, supported, and celebrated.

I’m naturally curious and facts-driven, always seeking to understand the why and how behind everything.
Over time, as I walked alongside my children in their own journeys, my curiosity expanded into a deep passion for understanding human behaviour. This path has been both fascinating and profoundly personal. The more I’ve learned, the more I’ve come to understand myself, my children, and the world around us.

My long-term special interests include fishing, kayaking, metal detecting, and collecting shells, rocks, and gemstones. My home is filled with indoor and outdoor houseplants, a love that’s naturally extended into aquatic plants and hydroponics.

My current hyperfocus is macro and landscape photography, which I combine with my love of fishing and beach foraging. It’s become a creative outlet and grounding practice that allows me to connect more deeply with nature and capture the beauty in small moments.
You’ll often find me seeking solace by the beach, whether I’m fishing from the shores or out on my boat, wandering the shoreline photographing its beauty, or collecting shells. Connecting with nature is my go-to grounding practice.

I have a deep love for cleaning and creating calm spaces, and I find the process incredibly therapeutic and regulating. It helps restore a sense of clarity and control when things feel chaotic.
